Advancing Public Financial Management through Active Cash Management and Predictive Data Analytics
Officials from the Philippine Bureau of the Treasury visited Korea to participate in the 2026 PEMNA T-CoP Study Visit. This three-day event, held at the Korea Fiscal Information Service (KFIS) in Seoul, focused on "Advancing Public Financial Management through Active Cash Management and Predictive Data Analytics." During this event, participants visited the Korea Fiscal Information Service (KFIS) and the Global Knowledge Exchange & Development Center (GKEDC).
Participants had opportunities to learn about 1) the structure and operation of Korea's PFM system and dBrain+, Korea's next-generation IFMIS, including its infrastructure and operational risk management, 2) fiscal data analysis systems and data-driven operational support within the public sector, and 3) the vision for fiscal information disclosure and the public sector's AI strategy and its application in fiscal management, presented by KFIS and the National Information Society Agency (NIA).
